Poster Printing Services
Who is it for?
The poster printer has a wide variety of applications. Whether its for personal use, business, or education, there is much you can do!

The Harris-Elmore & Genoa Branch Libraries offer poster printing services to the public at the Elmore location. This service is staff operated and has a fee according to size and the possible addition of lamination . The poster printer is capable of printing posters and banners on matte paper only. We will do our best to accommodate your requests and specifications, but we cannot guarantee a particular level of precision or customization.
Please note: In the guidelines below, “file size” refers to the digital file size (e.g. 100 MB, 2 GB, etc.), while “dimensions” refers to the physical size of the final print.
Submission Guidelines

You may submit up to FIVE print requests per month (1 file per request, 2 GB file size limit).

Files should be in JPG, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF formats (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, or tiff).

The original file size will affect print quality. Save images/files in as large a format as possible.

The dimensions of the print must be between 11 by 17 inches (minimum) and 36 by 96 inches (maximum).

Submission files must have a minimum resolution of 512 by 512 pixels or 300 dpi.

Files can be submitted on the library website via our Google Form or in person by filling out a physical waiver/request form.

Adding Lamination (cold press) to any of the following will add an additional $3 to the price.
The lamination will have a glossy sheen.
Payment can be made via Cash or Check. Debit/Credit Card payments can be accepted, but will be charged a $1 service fee.
Printing & Pickup

Please allow 3-5 days for your item to be printed. Items may take longer than five days depending on the number of requests received.

We will contact via phone when your print is complete.

Completed items can be picked up at the circulation desk at the Elmore Library. When you arrive, please let staff know your name and that you have received a pickup confirmation. Staff will then retrieve your print request from a staff area.

Items will be kept for up to one week after we notify you they are ready.

The library cannot guarantee product quality, satisfaction, equipment availability or stability, confidentiality of design, or specific delivery times.

The library is not responsible for damage to any project, if a project does not print correctly, does not work, or if a user’s personal equipment is damaged or destroyed while using any of the library equipment or tools.

The library is not responsible for any damages, loss or security of data arising from use of its computers or network or during the printing process.

The library reserves the right to refuse any poster print request.

The library is not responsible for proofreading materials submitted

The library’s poster printer may not be used to create materials that:

Are prohibited by local, state, or federal law.

Are unsafe, harmful, dangerous, or that pose an immediate threat to the well-being of others.

Are offensive or inappropriate for the library environment in accordance with library policies.

Violate another person’s property rights. For example, the printer will not be used to reproduce objects or materials that are subject to copyright, patent, or trademark protection.
