Political Issues Policy

The Library Board realizes the Library is an information center and as such, should provide information on political issues/candidates without any political partisanship being taken by the Library.

Only informational material (no signs) measuring no larger that 8.5 x 11 inches will be accepted.  Informational materials will be provided for both issues and candidates and will be available to the public for their perusal.

The following disclaimer will be placed alongside any such political information:

"The Harris-Elmore Public Library and the Genoa Branch Library believes in the dissemination of information.  The material here is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement of any issue or candidate by the Library"
