While it is perfectly acceptable to answer one's cell phone while in the library, prolonged conversations are unacceptable.  For the courtesy of others and for one's own personal privacy, prolonged calls should be taken outside away from the public area.

While inside the library, cell phones should be kept on silent so as not disturb others.
